Between the Piers: A Glimpse of the Sea
Two weathered wooden pier structures built on stilts extend out over a sandy beach and into a calm, greenish-blue sea under a hazy sky. The left structure is multi-leveled with white and brown wooden railings, hanging laundry, blue ropes, and vibrant pink bougainvillea flowers cascading from potted plants. The right structure features a covered walkway with wooden beams, lantern-style lights, and tropical palm trees growing alongside it. Between the two piers, gentle waves wash onto the narrow strip of wet sand, framing a view of the open ocean and distant horizon. The wooden pilings are darkened and worn from saltwater exposure, giving the scene a rustic, lived-in coastal character typical of Southeast Asian fishing villages or seaside communities.
