Fresh Produce at a Malaysian Street Market
An outdoor street market stall in what appears to be a Malaysian neighborhood, likely Little India, displaying a vibrant array of fresh produce. In the foreground, a large table covered with a pink cloth is piled high with leafy green vegetables including kangkung (water spinach), pandan leaves, and other Asian greens. Behind the table, a storefront features hanging bunches of green bananas suspended from hooks along the top of the shop entrance. Below the bananas, plastic crates are filled with onions, shallots, potatoes, garlic, and other root vegetables. Sugarcane stalks are bundled on the left side. The shop interior is stocked with bottled goods and packaged products. A red-brown pillar with gold text reading "Costume Jewellery" separates this stall from the adjacent shops. A Malaysian flag is visible on the pillar. The covered walkway extends to the right where more vegetable stalls and pedestrians can be seen in the background. A York air conditioning unit is mounted above the storefront.
